The Evanston Community Foundation is now accepting proposals for project-based and capacity-building grants from nonprofit organizations serving the Evanston community.  The Foundation’s 2012-2013 Responsive Grants will fund projects in a broad range of program areas that will strengthen the community beyond the grant period. During its previous Responsive Grants cycle, the Foundation made 27 grants totaling $200,507. 

Funding guidelines and application procedures are available at www.evanstonforever.com.  Applications must be filed electronically through eGrant.net by Monday, February 13th, 2012 at midnight. 

The Foundation is offering office hours during which staff will be available to meet with grant seekers who have questions about applying for a grant.  Staff will be available on Monday, January 9th from 10:30am – 2:30pm and Thursday, January 19h from 2:30 – 7:00pm.  Please contact info@evanstonforever.org or call 847-492-0990 to schedule an appointment.
