Opening Feb. 11, the Actors Gymnasium will present “Lost and Found: A Recycled Circus.” In this show, held at Noyes Cultural Arts Center, 927 Noyes St., cast-aside junk and cast-off characters are rescued, and all costumes, props and set pieces are re-purposed, recycled, found-object art.

Lost & Found: A Recycled Circus features aerial acrobatics and live, original music. Co-artistic directors Larry DiStasi and Sylvia Hernandez-DiStasi created this work collaboratively with a team of designers and performers.

Last winter’s performances of “Lost and Found” elicited the praise of both critics and audiences. Chicago Theatre Blog said of it, “This production will charm, warm and wow you. …” Chicago Reader commended its “wry sense of humor and …superb acrobatics.”
