Caring Connections for Seniors (“CCS”) will be holding its annual fundraising event at 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, April 29, at Beth Emet Synagogue, 1224 Dempster St., Evanston. This year’s fundraising event is entitled Caring Connections for Seniors: Grow With Us! The price of admission is $60.
The Grow With Us! benefit is expected to draw at least 150 attendees and will feature a silent auction, live entertainment, refreshments and remarks from Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky.
CCS was founded in 2009 to serve the practical, social and emotional needs of senior citizens, with its geographic focus on the Rogers Park neighborhood of Chicago. CCS is currently expanding its service area to include Evanston.
Information about Caring Connections for Seniors
Caring Connections for Seniors facilitates Chicago-area seniors’ access to and participation in the life of the community by bringing them together: (1) with volunteers who provide friendly visits, telephone contact and assistance with transportation and errands; (2) with each other in groups organized around shared interests and concerns; and (3) with other community resources and programs. Caring Connections for Seniors is a 50(c)(3) non-profit organization.
