Connections for the Homeless at the Lake Street Church will host a breakfast-time exploration of current strategies for ending homelessness. Speakers will include Daniel Biss, Illinois State Representative (17th District),  Mary Ellen Poole, Housing Planner for the City of Evanston, and Dr. Paul Selden, Executive Director of Connections for the Homeless. All speakers will take questions.

Connections is a leading provider of homeless services in north suburban Cook County. As the City of Evanston nears completion of its new plan to address homelessness, this session will provide an overview of key components that such plans typically include, along with some analysis of specific issues in Evanston that could affect the feasibility of such a plan.

The breakfast will start at 7:15 a.m. on Feb. 16 at Lake Street Church, 1458 Chicago Ave., Evanston, Illinois. Enter through the courtyard on Chicago Avenue.

Please RSVP at www.cfthinc.org. The event is free, but seating is limited.

Connections’ Breakfast Series on Homelessness is sponsored by First Bank & Trust of Evanston.
