Since 2007 the Illinois Girls Lacrosse Association has offered girls grades 3-8 the opportunity to play in a league exclusively for girls throughout the Chicago area.

Evanston IGLA will be starting its 11th season this April. Evanston IGLA has developed a strong relationship with Evanston Township High School. The athletic department provides practice and game fields, head varsity coach Sarah McKenna coaches a team and several varsity players coach the younger teams.

IGLA will also begin offering its advanced level for seventh- and eighth-graders. This level is for those girls who have played for several years and prepares them for the sport at the more competitive high school level.

Spring season begins April 16. For information and to sign up visit iglax.org.
