The Glass Slipper Project is taking donations of new or gently used prom-style dresses less than five years old. They also accept prom-appropriate shoes, jewelry, purses, shawls, gloves and new, unopened make-up.

Donations will be accepted through March 27 at the office of Cook County Commissioner Larry  Suffredin, 820 Davis St., Suite 104. The building is open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays and Saturdays 9 a.m. – noon. If the Suffredin office is closed and the building is open, donations should be put in a bag and can be left in the drop box near the Suffredin office door. Donations can also be dropped off at Zenegler Cleaners locations.
