The Infant Welfare Society of Evanston (IWSE) will be holding its seventh annual Hat Tea fundraising event on Sunday, May 6, 2012 at the Hilton Orrington Hotel from 3-5pm. The Hat Tea invokes the roots of the 99 year old organization, which was founded by an all-woman board, and is a wonderful opportunity for multiple generations of daughters and mothers to spend the afternoon together. All proceeds from the event will benefit IWSE’s programs providing high-quality early childhood education and family support services for teen parents and low-income families with young children in the city of Evanston and the surrounding communities.

This year’s Hat Tea celebrates Fairy Princesses. The event will feature High Tea at Evanston’s historic Hilton Orrington Hotel, live music, entertainment and crafts, a Tiara decorating station, an on-site salon and more. The Hat Tea will conclude with a Tiara Procession around the Grand Ballroom.

Tickets for the event are $50/ adult, $40/child, and $500 for a reserved table which seats eight. Last year’s event sold out, so get your tickets now!
