Evanston’s Tavis Clark was selected to the 2011-12 All-American Teams, Second Team, by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC). He was also named First Team All-Midwest District by the NABC on March 13 and was selected to play in the 2012 Reese’s® Division III College All-Star game on March 17.

Tavis was a leading scorer and rebounder on Evanston Township High School’s basketball team in 2008. Their run for a State title was cut short in a heartbreaking semi-final game in which Zion-Benton through in a half-court shot at the buzzer.

Tavis played his college career at Lake Forest College which had a 20-4 record this year. Tavis was selected as the league’s Player of the Year after leading the league with 9.9 rebounds per game and ranking fourth with 18.0 points, 1.7 steals, and 1.3 blocked shots per contest. His .643 field goal percentage ranked second in the nation.
