On March 29 at approximately 11:45 a.m. police were called to the 2200 block of Noyes Street for a burglary that had just occurred, said Commander Jay Parrott of the Evanston Police Department. On arrival, the victim told police that two persons had forced entry into his residence via a rear door and, upon being confronted, fled on foot. The victim briefly chased the two persons.
After receiving a description of the offenders and the direction in which they were heading, one of the police officers observed the offenders, said the Commander. The offender fled into a residence in the 1900 block of Grey Avenue where they were subsequently apprehended, detained and positively identified by the victim as the offenders, said the Commander. The alleged offenders are both Evanston residents, he added.
