Evanston Township High School (ETHS) has announced the return of Access ETHS for Parents, a transition support program for parents and families of new students. Launched as a pilot program in April 2011. Access ETHS for Parents is a free program that provides resources to assist parents and family members of new students in making the transition to ETHS. Sessions are held at ETHS, 1600 Dodge Ave., Evanston, IL 60201.

The Access ETHS for Parents program acquaints parents with the many resources and support services available to students and families. Information will be provided on academic requirements, what to expect the first year, school leaders and their roles, school communication channels, student services, safety, student activities, and how to best support students as they transition to high school. The program also offers the opportunity to meet with ETHS’s Parent Ambassadors to hear about their adjustments to ETHS and address questions and concerns new parents may have.
