The Evanston Chamber of Commerce recognized business and community leaders at its 92nd annual meeting on May 1. The Chamber’s small business person of the year award, sponsored by North Shore Community Bank & Trust, went to Maggie and Dean Noonan, (third and second from right), owners of WineStyles. Larry and Sylvia Hernandez-DiStasi (center), co-founcers of The Actors Gymnasium (where children “learn to fly”) received the public service/nonprofit person of the year award, sponsored by NorthShore University Health System. The Chamber’s community leadership award went to Paul and Cease Giddings (second and third from left), owners of FolkWorks Gallery. Sean O’Grady of NorthShore University HealthSystem, right, took over as president of the Chamber board from retiring president Dan Mennemeyer, far left.
