On April 30 the Evanston Public Library hosted free educational programs to celebrate El Día de los Niños/El Día de los Libros (Children’s Day/Book Day). The day began with a proclamation in support of the day of family literacy by Mayor Elizabeth Tisdahl. Throughout the day, programs at the Main Library and the North Branch supported the Library’s commitment to link children and books.
