“Yertle the Turtle” flexes her power as the ruler of all she surveys in one of three Dr. Seuss stories that came alive in Raymond Park last weekend, drawing hundreds of youngsters and their families to five performances of  “Up in the Tufts of a Truffala Tree, An Outdoor Dr. Seuss Spectacular.”

The Seussian show — which featured original music linking “Yertle the Turtle,” “The Sneetches” and “The Lorax” — was written and staged by Northwestern University students in Spectrum Theatre Company and Crayola Players.
