Approximately 20 small business from the Evanston/Rogers park area will be at the Levy Center from 3 to 7 p.m. on Sept. 9 to highlight their businesses to the community and to each other. The event is coordinated by Evanston residents Keya Graves, owner of Kmarig Event Planning, and Tiffini Holmes, owner of Total Transformation Wellness Coaching.

The event, say Ms. Holmes and Ms. Graves, will let the community “learn about the local talent, born and raised in Evanston and committed to growing the local economy. … Local businesses want to let the community know that its talented sons/daughters have started businesses right next door with the expertise they need, and small business owners want to get to know one another so that when webdesign, coaching, accounting needs, etc., arise, there is someone ‘in network’ to call upon that understands the need of small businesses.”

The event is free and open to the public.
