This unique show of artwork, juried on artistic merit and the use of green concepts, opened Sept. 7 with an artists’ reception in the upstairs gallery of the Noyes Cultural Arts Center, 927 Noyes St.

Sept. 15, 1 p.m. — Alfonso Nieves Ruis builds a model of Our Green Town with recycled materials.

Evanston’s first Tree Walk:
Sept. 15, 3 p.m. – This arborist-guided tour of the trees around the Noyes Center will include tips on tree-care best practices.
Green Arts Performance Night:
Sept. 21, 8 p.m. — The program includes improv by The Shelter Comedy, a performance by LakeDance, and a fashion performance by Pretty Dirty. Admission is $5 at the door. Registration is encouraged at artshow@greenerevanston.org.
