Ten years ago the Levy Senior Center moved into its present location on Dodge Avenue. On Sept. 15, civic and political leaders, as well as friends and members of the center, attended a gala lunch to mark the event.

Among those who attended were Alderman Ann Rainey, left, who led the effort to move the Levy Center from downtown to James Park, and retired Mayor Lorraine Morton. Mayor Elizabeth Tisdahl, Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky and Joseph Levy were other honored guests.
