Evanston Township High School will celebrate its 2012 Homecoming Oct. 1-5. A full week of activities including an “E-Town Olympics”-themed Spirit Week, student pep rally, and dance. New this year, students can celebrate their E-Town pride by participating in 3-on-3 basketball and 7-on-7 dodge ball tournaments.

On Oct. 5, ETHS welcomes its alumni and fans to the homecoming game at Lazier Field as the Wildkits take on the Maine South Hawks. The kick-off time is 7:30 p.m. The Homecoming half time show will include the ETHS marching band, PomKits, and the crowning of the Homecoming King and Queen. There will also be face-painting available for $1.00 per person, proceeds will go to Habitat for Humanity.

Tickets sold at the gate are $2 for ETHS students with a valid student ID, and $3 for adults. Admission is free for ETHS Boosters members and anyone who donates two (2) cans of food to the annual Homecoming Canned Food Drive supporting local food pantries. Fans are encouraged to come early – this game sells out quickly.
