The Evanston Police Department this weekend will be conducting neighborhood canvasses in the area of 2000 Ridge Ave., north to the Wilmette Harbor in regards to the Harsha Maddula death investigation, said Commander Jay Parrott of the Evanston Police Department. Detectives and uniformed officers will be engaging the public, including residents in the area, for the purpose of soliciting information and witnesses in this investigation.  

Mr. Maddula may have been seen by area residents between the hours of 10:30 p.m. on Friday night Sept. 21 and 1:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 22, 2012. Anyone who believes they have information in this case is asked to call the detective bureau at (847) 866-5040.
