The City reports that Fire and Life Safety conducted a water rescue Thursday morning, Nv. 8, at the Church Street Boat ramp area.  Apparently a woman in her 30s was walking along the rocks and fell into the water.  She was wedged in and caught in the water between some of the rocks on the north end of the breakwall, according to the City.  Some witnesses walking their dogs saw her struggling and called 911.  Fire Chief Greg Klaiber said, “We deployed our Personal Water Craft team and were able to extricate her.  She was transported to St. Francis Hospital exhibiting symptoms of hypothermia.
