Make an Evergreen Wreath
Anyone who has ever looked at a beautiful wreath and thought, “I wonder if I can do that?” will learn the techniques for making a beautiful and lasting evergreen wreath to decorate the home or give as a gift. The workshop runs 6:30-8 p.m. on Nov. 28 at the Ecology Center, 2024 McCormick Blvd. The fee is $30 ($35 for non-residents). Participants should bring bring clippers and garden gloves if possible. Winter Container Gardening Classes
Evergreens will highlight an outdoor seasonal container garden, as participants learn basic floral design principles with Mary Jaminski, community garden coordinator for the City of Evanston.
The workshop runs 6:30-8 p.m. on Nov. 27 at the Ecology Center, 2024 McCormick Blvd. There will be tips on creating a garden of interest for the winter season. The $30 fee ($35 for non-residents) includes a container and plant material. Participants should bring bring clippers and garden gloves if possible.
Ms. Jaminski will offer a similar class for children 5 years and older with an adult at 10 a.m. on Dec. 1. The fee for that class is $10/person.

Workshop for Teen Future Entrepreneurs
Students in grades 6-12 can learn the basics of getting a business started from budgeting to marketing and everything else to get their dreams off the ground at a workshop to be held from 3 to 4 p.m. on Dec. 1 in the small meeting room at the Main Library, 1703 Orrington Ave.
