The Naomi Ruth Cohen Institute for Mental Health Education at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology will host a program in Spanish for parents of school age children on substance abuse. The program will be held from 9:30 to 11 a.m. on Feb. 9 at Pope John XX111 is at 1120 Washington St.
Leading the presentation will be Hector Hernandez, M. A. of PEER Services. He is a qualified mental health professional who specializes in working with children, teens and families dealing with this issue. “During this presentation we will talk about drug experimentation and marijuana and ways to help your child if he or she is using drugs. I will also suggest ways that parents can support their children to make healthy decisions,” he says.
