Illinois State Senator Daniel Biss, State Representatives Robyn Gabel and Laura Fine, and Cook County Commissioner Larry Suffredin are hosting a town hall meeting on the state of public pensions in Illinois.
The elected officials will discuss the current liability of the Illinois State and Cook County pension systems, as well as various efforts to reform those systems. Questions from the public will be taken.
The forum will take place on Monday, Feb. 4, 2013 from 7:00 pm until 8:30 pm at the Community Recreation Center, 3000 Glenview Road, Wilmette, Illinois.
