Each spring for the past seven years, the Woman’s Club of Evanston (WCE) transforms its historic clubhouse into a sparkling prom boutique to provide prom dresses, shoes, jewelry and accessories to Evanston Township High School senior girls. This year the Dreams Delivered team will host a fashion show on March 18 at ETHS to preview available dresses and accessories, modeled by ETHS girls who have helped organize the event.

Donations of new and gently worn formal dresses (not more than four years old), formal shoes, evening jewelry, evening bags and unopened cosmetics will be accepted through March 8 at the following locations: Art + Science Salon, 811 Church St.; Evanston Athletic Club, 1723 Benson Ave.; Pivot Point Salon, 1560 Sherman Ave.; Soapies, 516  Dempster St.; and Stella Boutique, 2116 Central St.

Over the years, the WCE’s Dreams project has provided prom dresses to more than 350 ETHS students in need. More than 80 senior girls were outfitted for prom at Dreams Delivered in 2012.

Students interested in attending the WCE’s Dreams Prom Boutique on April 8-10 should contact Pam MacPherson, ETHS Students Activities director, at 847- 424-7949 or at macphersonp@eths.k12.il.us to make an appointment.
