The Evanston History Center will host a benefit chamber music concert presented by Dempster St. Pro Musica at 7 p.m. on Mar. 22 at the Evanston History Center, 225 Greenwood St. The event will feature Baroque music performed by Baird Dodge, principal second Violin, Chicago Symphony Orchestra (CSO), John Thorne, Professor of flute, Northwestern University, Michael Henoch, Assistant Principal oboe of the CSO, Loren Brown, CSO cellist, Stephen Alltop, harpsichordist and Director of Music at Alice Millar Chapel.  

Founded in 2008 by assistant principal oboist of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra Michael Henoch, Dempster St. Pro Musica is by no means a conventional organization.

Tickets are $45 (EHC members are $40) and may be purchased online at www.evanstonhistorycenter.org or by call 847-475-3410. Seating is limited. A reception follows the concert. Funds raised will benefit programs at the Evanston History Center.
