At its 25-year gala and fundraiser, Housing Options honored its founders and the many people who contributed to its success over the past 25 years, and looked to the future. Edwin Getz, vice president of the Housing Options board (far right) introduced five founders to a standing ovation from the audience: (left to right) Dorothy Lloyd-Still, Margaret Sondler, Larry Gavin, Angela Schwartz and Claire McCarthy Peterson. Housing Options for the Mentally Ill in Evanston is a nonprofit organization that provides affordable supportive housing and mental health support to adults recovering from chronic mental illnesses.
