The Cook County Election Authority has changed the polling place for four Evanston Township precincts for the April 9 Consolidated Elections. The changes are as follows:
- Ward 2, Precinct 2 voters will no longer vote at Beth Emet Synagogue, but rather at the Unitarian Church, located at 1330 Ridge Ave.
- Ward 4, Precinct 4 voters will no longer vote at Beth Emet Synagogue, but rather at the Unitarian Church, located at 1330 Ridge Ave.
- Ward 4, Precinct 6 voters will no longer vote at Beth Emet Synagogue, but rather at the Unitarian Church, located at 1330 Ridge Ave.
- Ward 6, Precinct 2 voters will no longer vote at Willard School, but rather at Second Church of Christ Scientist, located at 2715 Hurd Ave.
All other voters can locate their polling places online at www.cityofevanston.org/aboutmyplace or by calling the Cook County Election Authority at 312/603-5656. Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Election Day.
Additionally, Early Voting for the Evanston City Council, Evanston Township and School Districts 65 and 202 will take place from March 25 through April 6 in Room 2200 of the Lorraine H. Morton Civic Center, located at 2100 Ridge Ave. Early Voting hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Saturday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday.
