A Public Meeting will be held on Thursday, April 11 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the Lincoln School Auditorium, 910 Forest Avenue, Evanston. The City of Evanston is conducting a Transit-oriented Development Study for the CTA (Purple Line) and Metra Main Street station areas in Evanston. The study is intended to enhance multi-modal mobility between the Main Street stations, the Main Street business district and surrounding neighborhoods.

The City has partnered with the Regional Transportation Authority (RTA) through its Community Planning Assistance Program. This program is designed to assist communities in creating more transit-friendly and multi-modal places. The purpose of the public meeting is to gather and consider community input on the study. This study is funded by the RTA and the City of Evanston.

If you have any questions, please contact Dennis Marino, Manager, Planning & Zoning Division, at 847/448-8674. The meeting will be accessible to persons with disabilities.
