On April 14 at approximately 11:36 p.m., police responded to a call of shots fired in the area near Emerson Street and Hartrey Avenue. Police found 20 shell casings that had been fired, five vehicles that had bullet holes, and three residences that were damaged by bullets, Commander Jay Parrott of the Evanston Police Department told the RoundTable.

Police incident reports reflect that vehicles that had bullet holes were located on the 2100 block of Emerson, the 2200 block of Emerson and 1800 block of Hartrey.

The Commander said there have been no reports that anyone was injured as a result of the gunfire. Police have no suspects at this time, he added. Police are asking that anyone with information about the incident to call the Evanston Police Department.
