Nichols is presenting an original adaptation of the novel “Schooled” by Gordon Korman. The story’s focus is boy being raised on a ’60s-style commune who goes to public school for the first time. Some of the students are hostile, but he is able to turn the situation around and become the most popular kid in the school. “Schooled” will be at 6:30 p.m. on May 2 in the Nichols auditorium, 800 Greenleaf St. Admission is free.
