Music by American composers George Gershwin, Aaron Copland, Samuel Barber, Moses Hogan, William Billings and local composer Wayland Rogers fill the first half of our Spring Concert series. In the second half, the focus is on Chicago with music made famous by Benny Goodman, Chaka Khan, The Plain White T’s, Gene Chandler, Chicago and Jennifer Hudson. As always, an audience sing-along, a few surprises and a guaranteed great evening: 8 p.m. on April 26 at Nichols Hall, Music Institute of Chicago, 1490 Chicago Ave, Evanston.
