Five choral ensembles and the Handbell Choir will present a wide variety of music, from Aaron Copland to a Nigerian praise song, at the Spring Choral Concert on Tuesday, May 21, at Evanston Township High School, 1600 Dodge Ave. The concert begins at 7pm in the school’s Auditorium.
Featured ensembles include the ETHS Concert Choir, Chorale, Bazao A Cappella, Chamber Singers, and the Dazzling Dames, all directed by Choral Director Mary Theresa Reed. Among the many songs to be performed are medleys from Bruno Mars, Michael Jackson, and from Sonheim’s musical “Sweeney Todd.”
Tickets are $3 for adults, $1 for students, and free to senior citizens, available at the door. The ETHS Auditorium is handicapped accessible. Parking is best in the lot on Dodge Ave., directly across from the Auditorium entrance.
