“Noah’s Playground for  Everyone” will celebrate its five-year anniversary from 1:00 to 4:00  p.m. on Saturday, July 6, 2013. There will be face-painting and custard     donated by Andy’s Custard of Evanston. The young and the young at heart are     invited to drop by at any time that afternoon.

The playground is located in Lawson Park at Sheridan Road and Clinton Place, just north of the Evanston Art Center and the  Grosse Point Lighthouse. In 2012, the playground won chosen as the Best Playground in Time Out Chicago Kids’ Hipsqueak Awards.

“Noah’s Playground for Everyone” is a  fully-accessible playground and allows all children, no matter their physical circumstances, to play together. Funding for this project came from private donations in memory of Noah Cutter and the City of Evanston’s Capital Improvement Program.
