To celebrate Whole Foods Market’s 15 year anniversary in the Evanston community, Evanston police officers and firefighters compete to see who makes a better burger. A $6 donation to the Evanston Police and Fire Foundation gives customers the chance to taste both burgers and vote for the best burger. Customers may also partake in snacks and water from Whole Foods Market. All Proceeds benefit the Evanston Police & Fire Foundation
The Evanston Police and Fire Foundation is dedicated to providing the Evanston Police and Fire Departments with the supplemental resources needed to enhance the quality of life of all Evanston residents and community members.
“Whole Foods Market is proud to partner with the Police and Fire Departments as well as the Foundation to give thanks for their dedicated service to this community,” said Whole Foods in a press release. “Offering the highest quality natural and organic ingredients to the talented chefs of the Police and Fire departments, Whole Foods Market looks forward to team spirit, friendly competition, and delicious results.”
The grill off takes place on Sunday, July 28, between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. on the rooftop parking deck of Whole Foods Market – Downtown Evanston, 1640 Chicago Avenue.
