Bottle & Bottega, which is part art adventure and part cocktail party, officially opened its brick & mortar studio location at 1016 Davis St. on Oct, 16. Chicago sports reporter Peggy Kusinski attended the grand opening celebration at which people in attendance could paint and support Ms. Kusinski’s charity of choice, “Girl in the Game.”

Before settling in on a permanent location on Davis Street, Evanston resident Lynette Martin operated Evanston’s Bottle & Bottega as a mobile business. Since Aug. 12, she has partnered with a number of Evanston businesses, including wine shop WineStyles, sushi restaurant Koi and clothing boutique Gigi Bottega.

At public painting parties, guests indulge with their favorite wine or drink and enjoy a night of creativity as instructors provide step-by-step instruction on creating an art masterpiece.

Bottle & Bottega Evanston also hosts private events such as bachelorette parties, corporate retreats, and birthdays at homes or offices upon request. At all events, guests provide their own drinks and a nominal fee covers everything else, from canvases, paints and brushes to instruction for the three- or four-hour long session.

The Evanston opening marks the fifth studio location in the Chicagoland area.
