The North End Mothers’ Club, one of Evanston’s oldest philanthropic organizations, recently provided grants worth $40,000 to 18 Evanston organizations, each of which provides services to Evanston youth, from infants to teens.

The organizations supported for 2013 are Infant Welfare Society of Evanston, Inc., Child Care Center of Evanston, Cherry Preschool, Evanston Symphony Orchestra, TED Fund,(Ted Mueller After-School & Camp Scholarship Fund), Evanston School Children’s Clothing Assoc. (ESSCA), ETHS PTSA/After Midnight, Curt’s Cafe, Evanston Scholars, ETHS Special Education Department, BooCoo, YWCA Evanston/Northshore, Evanston 4th of July Association, McGaw YMCA, Youth Organizations Umbrella (Y.O.U.), Grandmother Park Initiative, Moran Center for Youth Advocacy and Evanston Swims! (an Evanston 150! Initiative).         

In addition to providing financial support to Evanston organizations, the North End Mothers’ Club also funds four scholarships awarded each year to ETHS seniors.
