Since Oct. 1, Roberta Luskin-Hawk, M.D. has taken on the role of president and CEO of Presence Saint Francis Hospital, in addition to her role as president and CEO of Presence Saint Joseph Hospital in Chicago. She replaces Presence Saint Francis Hospital president and CEO Jeff Murphy, who retired earlier this fall. Dr. Luskin-Hawk  has been president and CEO of St. Joseph Hospital since 2009, one of only a handful of female physicians in Illinois who serve as hospital CEOs.

Prior to her administrative role, Dr. Luskin-Hawk had a 24 year medical career that incorporated clinical practice, medical education, clinical research and physician leadership roles. A board-certified specialist in infectious diseases, Dr. Luskin-Hawk has been recognized for her commitment to the communities impacted by HIV infection. She was invited to participate in a national NIH HIV Treatment Guideline Committee and was named a “Top Doctor” in Chicago by Castle Connolly. “Dr. Luskin-Hawk’s practice experience, focus on quality and clinical excellence, business acumen and passion for her work are important foundations for her leadership role,” said Sandra Bruce, president and CEO of Presence Health.
