Students and families of Evanston Township High School are invited to attend the ETHS Pre-Engineering Information Night on Dec. 3, at 6:30-8:00 p.m. in the Little Theatre. Event highlights include information about the ETHS pre-engineering curriculum, how students can benefit from the PLTW program, and college credit options for PLTW courses.
ETHS is a certified Project Lead the Way (PLTW) high school, offering five pre-engineering courses that provide students with in-depth, hands-on experience and reality-based knowledge of engineering and engineering technology careers. More information is available online at www.ethsengineering.synthasite.com.
Project Lead The Way® (PLTW) is a national not-for-profit organization dedicated to increasing the quality and quantity of science and technology graduates in the United States. The PLTW program at ETHS integrates national academic and technical learning standards and Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics (STEAM) principles into a comprehensive curriculum. The December event is an opportunity to meet engineering faculty and students at ETHS, see student projects and the engineering lab, and speak with representatives from post-secondary engineering programs.
