Erie Family Health Center has expanded its partnership with NorthShore University HealthSystem to provide vital care to more patients and families in need.

NorthShore University HealthSystem recently closed its Child and Adolescent Center in Evanston and transferred its patients to Erie. The adult Outpatient Clinic at Evanston Hospital will remain open and NorthShore will continue as a partner with Erie for specialty, diagnostic, emergency and inpatient hospital care.

To make their visits as easy and efficient as possible, Erie Evanston/Skokie now offers pediatric medical and dental appointments on the same day. When patients call to schedule a medical appointment, they can tell the call center operator that they would like to schedule a dental appointment at the same time. Evanston/Skokie patients can also request a dental appointment when they register at the front desk.

Aimee Crow, M.D. and Barb Dickinson, A.P.N., recently joined the Erie staff. Dr. Crow graduated from Harvard Medical School and completed her residency in pediatrics at Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago. She is board certified and has been in practice more than 10 years at NorthShore Evanston Hospital, seeing patients at the Child & Adolescent Center and at the ETHS School-Based Health Center, while also serving as a pediatric inpatient hospitalist.

Ms. Dickinson received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Northwestern University and her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She is a certified family nurse practitioner and also a certified lactation educator with more than 20 years of experience, including Erie Family Health Center, the Child & Adolescent Center at NorthShore Evanston Hospital, and the ETHS School-Based Health Center. Before her career in nursing, she worked for a number of years in Latin America.

Erie continues to enroll patients in health coverage under the Affordable Care Act at our Evanston/Skokie site and other sites. Patients can contact 847-666-3494
