Last week Koenig & Strey and Prudential Rubloff became Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices KoenigRubloff Realty Group, celebrating the merger with a ribbon-cutting at their offices at 2110 Central St.

Managing broker Alan Zuber said, “This is truly an exciting day all of us have been waiting for since November – two legendary Chicagoland firms with the new Berkshire Hathaway brand.”

Alice Conner said Berkshire Hathaway “is a respected name, and we’re all glad to have it on our business cards.”

Mayor Elizabeth Tisdahl said, “Thank you for opening in Evanston. It was very smart of you to open on Central Street, the number-one street in the nation.”
