During the months of April, May and June, Young Evanston Artists (YEA!) will be the beneficiary of the Whole Foods Market – South Evanston, 111 Chicago Ave., “One Dime at a Time” fundraiser.

One Dime at a Time allows Whole Foods customers to accept their refund or direct the cashier to donate the cash to the store’s chosen non-profit through the registers at Whole Foods Market. This program supports a local non-profit and reduces the community’s impact on the environment at the same time.

Since April 1, 2014, Whole Foods Market – South Evanston has been collecting dime donations to benefit YEA!, a nonprofit, volunteer-driven organization whose mission is to provide the children of Evanston with a unique forum for the exhibition and performance of their art. The 27th annual YEA! Day will be held May 17. It will be the culminating arts event for many Evanston schools and invigorates their arts programs throughout the year.
