The Evanston Township High School baseball team started the season off hot, but then seems to have hit a lull period. On April 22 and 24, the Kits dropped two games to Glenbrook South. They got back on the winning track with a 9-5 win against Maine East on April 30, which brought them to 12-6-1 for the season. They then lost two games to Niles West on May 1 and 2. On May 6 they lost to Maine South, 3-2, when Main South scored two runs in the bottom of the sixth. Their record on the season is now 12-1-1. They have 10 remaining games in their regular season, which ends May 24.
