Evanston Township High School students participated in the 2014 communications contest held by the Illinois Woman’s Press Association (IWPA). The contest recognizes excellence among students in 20 school newspaper, yearbook and video categories.
The winning entries of 63 Illinois high school students were honored at a May 17 luncheon in Chicago. The following ETHS students will be recognized, along with Rodney Lowe, ETHS teacher and adviser:
Abby Baum: First place in Double-Truck Layout; Honorable Mention in Graphics/Photo Illustration
Madison Collins: Honorable Mention in Graphics/Photo Illustration
Elston Tortuga: Second place in Environmental Story
Dalya Sohl: Third place in Feature Story
