The Ridgeville Farmers’ Market is continuing to offer a pre-order/delivery option that allows residents to “buy local” and avoid a mid-week trip to the supermarket for fresh produce. Program participants sign up to receive a small box filled with an assortment of four to six fruits and vegetables from local growers who sell at the market. The box costs $20 per week; residents are free to select whichever weeks they want to receive a delivery (June 4-Oct. 8).

This will be the third year Ridgeville has offered a pre-order/delivery option. Details about the program are available at www.ridgeville.org.  Individuals who place their orders before June 1 will receive free delivery throughout the summer. Participants must live within predetermined Evanston boundaries. More information is available by emailing program@ridgeville.org.
