On May 30, members of the Evanston Police Department participated in the “Cops on Top” at the Dunkin’ Donuts, 1900 Dempster St., at Evanston Plaza. The annual event took place to raise money for the Special Olympics. Officer Loyce Spells was the early morning “Cop on Top.” Officers Heidi Bernhardt and Grace Carmichael were co-chairs for the event.
