2000 Dodge

Evanston Police detectives investigating the aggravated battery with a firearm that occurring on July 8, 2014 at approximately 12:55PM in the 2000 block of Dodge Ave. have obtained a video surveillance image through an area video camera monitored by police that depicts a sport utility vehicle that is believed to be involved in the shooting.

Police are releasing this photo to the public in hopes of identifying the vehicle and anyone associated with this vehicle. Preliminary indictors are that this vehicle is a Hyundai Tucson and possibly may be a rental. 

Anyone with information regarding this vehicle is asked to call the Evanston Police Detective Bureau at (847) 866-5040 or utilize the anonymous text-a-tip program by texting to CRIMES (274637) and putting EPD TIP in the message line along with the tip information.
