Ali Abunimah, co-founder of The Electronic Intifada and author of One Country: A Bold Proposal to End the Israeli-Palestinian Impasse, reads from his newest book, The Battle for Justice in Palestine on Monday, August 11 at 7PM in the library’s Community Meeting Room.

Abunimah is a highly respected voice for Palestinian rights. In addition to his books, he is the author of hundreds of articles on the question of Palestine in a wide variety of publications, including The Jordan Times, The New York Times, The Guardian, The Los Angeles Times and Al Jazeera.

This event is co-sponsored by Evanston Neighbors for Peace. Mr. Abunimah will be introduced by Rabbi Brant Rosen, author of “Wrestling in Daylight, a Rabbi’s Path Towards Palestinian Solidarity.”
