The North End Mothers’ Club, one of Evanston’s oldest philanthropic organizations, has donated more than $40,000 to 14 Evanston organizations that support Evanston youth.

Recipients of the 2014 donations include the Infant Welfare Society, Cherry Pre-School, The Cradle, TED Fund, Evanston School Children’s Clothing Association (ESCCA), ETHS After Midnight, Curt’s Cafe, Evanston Scholars, ETHS Special Education Department, Open Studio Project, Dajae Coleman Foundation, YWCA Evanston/North Shore and Youth Organization Umbrella (Y.O.U). The Club also continued its longstanding support of the Evanston 4th of July Association with both a monetary contribution and by sponsoring the Chicago Highlanders Pipe band in the parade.

NEMC also funds four scholarships, with a combined value of $10,000, for Evanston Township High School seniors.
