Before the Evanston Township High School football team took on Crete Monee on the evening of Sept. 5, ETHS paid tribute to Steve King. Coach King was hired as an assistant football coach at ETHS in 2005 and was promoted to assistant head football coach and defensive coordinator in 2008. He held that position until his untimely death on June 27.

The 2014 ETHS football season is being dedicated to Coach King “to make sure his legacy is always remembered in Evanston.”
