The Climate Action Fund of Evanston Community Foundation (ECF) makes grants to Evanston nonprofits for energy-saving projects that help them reduce their energy bills as well as their greenhouse gas emissions.

On Oct. 1 representatives of ECF presented a check to Lou Dickson, owner of Evanston Rebuilding Warehouse, and Elder Phillip Bentley of Mt. Zion Apostolic Church, owner of the building at 2101 Dempster St. The money will be used for major energy-saving electrical work at the warehouse.
