City Manager Wally Bobkiewicz provided the following information about the Halloween day and evening storm, which brought snowflakes and high winds to the area.

The forestry division reported that 10 trees were downed and 30 limbs damaged.

The street and sanitation division reported that two street lights were downed and the wheelchair access ramp at Lighthouse Beach was damaged.

The fire and life safety division responded to 51 calls related to trees and to a “few scattered power issues.”

The police reported that a person trying to go swimming was removed from the lakefront.
